The singing accountant (as some locals knew him), Teddy Chisi was one of the more prolific solo artists from the Zamrock scene. Having released three solo efforts (backed by The Fire Balls and Mo Solid Sounds) and numerous singles across Teal, Chris Editions, Zambia Music Parlour, Motaxis and even through Keith Mlevhu’s Mac Bullet imprint, Teddy Chisi released music on almost every active imprint during the period, including his own. This was his first effort, released on the infamous Zambia Music Parlour, and is one of the most lo-fi recordings heard on the label. Serious fuzz solos, upbeat songs and catchy songwriting, Teddy Chisi was a force to be reckoned with and one of the core members of the short lived Zamrock movement. Features never before release extended versions of some songs from reel.
